This research deals with the fictional characterizution Anwer Abdul Aziz’s ((The water Bird)) collection, which is distinguished by the feuture of its humantistic dimention contents and its artistic from which reveals that the auther has well employed its techniques in an interes ting artistic vision, These Techniques diverted the reader from The classical tradition of these techniques and its realistic subjects.

The subject ofthe research moves in to three trands which its titles have been drawn from the conclusion ofthe collection specifically, the chavater componet which appeur clearly and dominaatingly in its artistic structure consequently, The titles will be us the following: The victim, the hunter, the spectator.

The researchis bused on is the fictional text as amain starting point to imderstand the fictional structure and inter pretating its signs.

But this stule goes beyond what is outside the limtaion ofthe text, never the less, the limitation of this text enconrage us to go beyond it.
