The interest of this article is to show the importance of the sensory body of the narrator- character in the novel L'Herbe des Ruines by Emmanuel Robles.
It is about a discrete body, difficult to define by a "successful reader".
It is through a sensory experience that the body of the narrator-character becomes aware of itself and reveals itself to be distinct from the outside world.
A world of war marked by an aerial bombardment in Dresden.
This narrator opens up to the world through the senses.
He tries to figure it out and to decipher it using the sight, the smell and the hearing.

L’intérêt de cet article est de montrer l’importance du corps sensoriel du narrateur- personnage dans le roman l’Herbe des Ruines d’Emmanuel Roblès.
Il y est question d’un corps discret, difficile à cerner par un «lecteur suffisant».
C’est par une expérience sensorielle que le corps du narrateur-personnage prend conscience de lui-même et se révèle distinct du monde extérieur.
Un univers de guerre marqué par un bombardement aérien à Dresde.
Ce narrateur s’ouvre au monde grâce aux sens.
Il tente de se le figurer et de le déchiffrer en usant du regard, de l’odorat et de l’ouï
