This research aims to study the importance of the mining sector in relation to the national economy, as the Algerian legislator has instituted it through several regulatory texts including Law 84-06 on mining activities abrogated by law 01-10; the latter was abrogated by Law 14 - 05, which is responsible for the provision of the state monopoly on mining activity through the granting of mining exploration and discovery license to private investors.
By dedicating mechanisms it helped to transform the sector for private investors.
In fact, the conversion process through the privatization of management can be surrounded by several incentives although hindered by some limitations.

La présente recherche a pour but l’étude de l’importance du secteur minier par rapport à l’économie nationale, car le législateur algérien l’a instauré par plusieurs textes législatifs y compris la loi 84 - 06 relative aux activités minières abrogée par la loi 01 - 10 portant loi minière.
Cette dernière a été abrogée par la loi 14 - 05, qui a mené à la suppression du monopole de l’Etat sur l’activité minière par l’attribution de licences d’autorisations d’exploration et de découverte minières aux investisseurs privés.
En effet, ce processus de conversion à travers la privatisation de la gestion peut être entouré de plusieurs incitations bien qu’il ait été entravé par plusieurs contraintes.
