Abstract EN

The study aims to recognize the human ego in players from the Holy Quran perspective through considering three human ego characteristics: the incessantly demanding ego, admonish ego, and pacific ego.

The study aims to consider these characteristics during situations and psychological conditions that appear in players during sport competition.

The researchers reached a conclusion that three characteristic vary continuously in competition situation demanding on the players self control.

If the player tolerated his incessantly demanding ego and neglecting his moral commitment , it is most likely that his incessantly demanding ego characteristic will urge him to wrong do .

however, if the player focused his ego to be committed to discipline and responsibility in his acts and showed regret when wrong is done by him during competition , the admonish character of the ego will be most represented .

Finally, If the player resorts to self-control and standard performance, the pacific character will be most dominant in his ego.

The two researchers concluded that players can acquires pacific character and stability through belief and prayer and that sport competitions reveals the underlying good and evil in the human character .

The Religion of Islam aids the individual human psychology through motivating his impulses, organizing his desires, and controlling his emotions.

The researchers recommend that consideration must be directed towards educational and psychological guidance of players through instructing them to praise the name of God who will gain them pacification during performance.
