Abstract EN

The research aimed to recognize the effect of a training program on developing some social skills in kindergarten children.

The experimental method is used to achieve the goals.

The samples consisted of 50 kindergarten children in preparatory stage in Mosul (only males).

The researchers have designed a form to insure social skills in kindergarten children consisted of 43 item has been checked by submitting it to a group of experts to get of face validity while reliability was concluded by re-testing, it consisted of a series of stories told to some children and every story represents a social skill.

The program was submitted to a group of experts.

The program consisted of 10 training sessions and included the following activities, lecturer, discussion role playing and social reinforcement.

Pearson coefficient and the T - test were used.

Results showed a statistic significant difference between the mean of scores of kindergarten children between the experimental group and the control group in fovour of the senior which refers to the activity of the program in developing social skills in kindergarten children.
