This article is about the ways the rhetorical mechanisms of the argumentation are used in the Andalusian prose , through the Zarzariyya of Abu al-Qasim bin Abi al-Jid as a study sample.

The theoretical side of this study is about the argumentation in the prose and its relationship with rhetorics.

While the practical side deals with the rhetorical mechanisms used by the author in his letter.

We concluded with the most important results of this study such as: that the ancient prose text is an argumentative text, with goals and purposes that the writer sought in order to convince the receivers and influence them using clear evidence and proof
