In order to reduce the idea of procedural invalidity، jurisprudence and legislation decide several ways to limit and reduce procedural invalidity، including the idea of diminishing the procedure، in order to preserve from the defective procedure itself and other procedures and the substantive rights to be protected.

Instead of the nullity that applies to the whole procedure، the invalidity can be reduced by the defective part، so that we keep the procedure in one of it and nullify the other part، so the defect is removed from it، and proceeds towards the arrangement of its positive effects in the case.
