The exclusive right of the author represents his mental and in-tellectual product, and it was not born of the hour, but rather has deep roots that extend back to many centuries, and most of the world’s constitutions and laws have ensured the protection of this right because it contributed to the economic and commercial de-velopment of those countries, especially the financial aspect of it, as it became the subject of financial transactions and transactions.

It is necessary to clarify the nature of this right and the definitions provided for it, and the characteristics that distinguish it from oth-er rights, as well as the most important exceptions to it and related to the public interest such as compulsory licenses and the terms and conditions of those licenses.
