Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of patternsof leadership in achieving job satisfaction when the faculty members in College of Management and Economics, University of Salahalddin / Erbil and diagnosis of more common factors of job satisfaction they have.

Determined Research community in the faculty in the College of Management and Economics,and the completionof research prepared a questionnaire consisting of three Sections: Section I: Personal Information on faculty, and Section II: Scale PatternsLeadership component of (15) paragraph, Section III: measure for job satisfaction component of (30) items on the six factors of job satisfaction: supervision, morale, working conditions, pay, the type of work, Contact.

Find concluded that levelsof job satisfaction when faculty members increased with thead option of the Democratic Study Leadership by the heads of departments in these levels fall with thead option of the ddictatorial leadership style, style Altsepi.

The study recommended the need to activate and effective leadership styles that fit with the conditions and attitudes as well as the adoption of organizational democratic culture at the heads of scientific departments.
