This study aims to shed light on the government as an important constitutional institution in determining the type of political system that the Algerian constitutional founder pursued in the constitutional amendment for the year 2020, as the study deals with the formation of the government of both types and its subordination to the President of the Republic or not and its relationship with Parliament, and the powers granted to it, in order to reach the nature The political system written by the constitutional founder, however, it Is difficult to separate the nature of the political system in light of the legal system of government, given that the constitutional founder does not adhere to the characteristics of the parliamentary system as it Is with regard to the government led by the prime minister, and also his violation of some characteristics of the presidential system regarding the government led by the prime minister.
