The pharmaceutical industry has evolved significantly, resulting in a diversity of medicines.

However, despite its positive effects, this devlopment has been accompanied by risks including the indespread counterfeit of medicines, which is designed to produce and market medicines that are based on their validity, but in fact they are of poor quality which has the effect of misleading the drug's consumer.

This has led the Algerian legislator to include legal text in the provision of the health law, which defines counterfeit medicine, in addition legal control over medicine was imposed before and after it is placed in the market.

It is also taken of the powerful penal disposition all the abuse of counterfeit drug when a pharmacist was the only person in direct contact whit drug consumers.
