Major disaster come to a ship or goods transported on gives the insured an exclusive and special right only for maritime insurance that is right of renouncing.

Renouncing is a regime created to indemnify the big damage that come on the insured due to a guaranteed maritime risk occurred on the ship in case of ship maritime insurance or on the transported goods in case of goods maritime insurance.

The application of renouncing regime won't be only by providing conditions and specific cases that are defining in Algerian insurance cod, and the application of this regime causes effects that the insurer and the insured are obliged to their execution.
