This research highlights the role of the judicial record in protecting intellectual property and consumer rights from imitation.

Imitation goods have become widespread everywhere and pose a particularly grave danger to consumers.

Algerian legislation has created direct national mechanisms to eliminate the crime of imitation and the role of the judicial court, which is being strengthened in combating imitation on the one hand and protecting consumers on the other.

Through its preventive action, which is to reserve a sample of goods or samples of imitation manufactures, which is a direct mechanism for combating imitation, it appears to be signing in the interest of protecting intellectual property rights holders, but to be pursued in its aims and dimensions.

It is noted that it aims to protect the consumer as the weakest link in society.
