Abstract EN

The Algerian legislator has conferred on the judge of administrative matters new prerogatives which he did not previously have, in accordance with Law 09-08 on the code of civil and administrative procedure.

These new prerogatives are considered essential and important for the proper conduct of the litigation because the particularity of administrative litigation requires that the judge has special and specialized training which allows him to be well versed in administrative matters and to be knowledgeable about the nature and objectives of the administration.

The importance of the powers and prerogatives granted by the Algerian legislator to the judge of administrative matters, which remain conditioned by their implementation and application, consist of new procedural and substantive powers relating to real estate disputes
