Abstract EN

This research seeks to highlight some aspects of literary communication bridges in poetry and prose between the Islamic East and West, through two important authors and two prominent literary encyclopedias that consider the mayor in their art, the first is: Al- 'Iqd al-Farid (The Unique Necklace) of IbnAbdRabbih (d.328 AH), and the second: Dhakhira fi mahasinahi al-Jazirra (The Treasury concerning The Merits of the People of Iberia) by IbnBassam al-Shantarini (d.542 AH).

This is because Arabic literature from ancient times to the modern era has known the dialectic of give and take, and a mutual interaction that fluences and influences between its territories and regions from one another.

The importance of this research is evident in that it is a contribution to explaining some of the characteristics of literature in the Islamic West that distinguish it from literature in the East on the one hand.

And the manifestations of the Islamic West literati being influenced by the East Islamic literati on the other hand, as the studies and critical works related to Islamic West and Andalusian literature were accomplished on the basis of being influenced by oriental literature that won creativity and composition, and on this basis comes the comparison between the Andalusian and the Islamic West products' on the one side, and the Levantine heritage on the other side .

It is not possible to consider the Andalusian and East heritage except considering the achievements related to this heritage outcome of creativity and authorship.

The reason for this is mainly due to: their common cultural affiliation.

Based on this, the relationship between literature is close and tight, and in the light of it is possible to talk about both the East and the Islamic West literature
