Abstract EN

This study aims to achieve a major goal, which is to uncover what culture is and build the Egyptian personality, through a set of sub-goals : Identifying what culture is, identifying cultural dimensions from the perspective of Hofstede theory, revealing the characteristics of culture, and revealing the reality of Culture on the Egyptian society and personality, and identifying the symbolic dimension of Egyptian culture, and revealing the patterns of culture and behavior of the Egyptian personality.

The study found that the deterioration of economic and development conditions, and their failure to achieve the required progress, which naturally led to the loss of cultural identity.

The most important recommendations of the study were : To stimulate cooperation, coordination, and the exchange of ideas and information on culture, personality and Egypt.
