Abstract EN

The study examined the role of the actuary in promoting corporate governance in insurance companies by addressing the definition of the study variables, and the study aimed to know the relationship of the actuary with governance through analyzing the questionnaire paragraphs and conducting several tests on the study samples, and the study concluded that there is no charter for governance in Insurance institutions are the sample of the study so that governance is implicitly practiced through the regulations, instructions and laws regulating insurance institutions.

The study also concluded that the actuary's work is considered one of the pivotal and sensitive parties to embody the general framework of governance, and that there is a strong between the actuary and governance in insurance companies and this is confirmed by the value of the correlation coefficient R, which reached 97% in the study sample.
