Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the practicing leadership styles and their relationship to the preparation of second grade leaders in the ministries of the Palestine State.

The study population consisted all administrative staff of the directorates of the Palestine State in Jericho Governorate, amounting to 222 employees.

A random sample of 42 employees was taken.The results of the study showed that the leadership styles practiced in the ministries of the State Palestine (authoritarian, participatory, transformative) were at a moderate degree from the responses of the study community, and the level of the respondents’ perceptions about the reality of preparing second-grade leaders in the ministries of the Palestine State came to a medium degree from the responses of the study community as well.The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) between the practice of leadership styles and the preparation of second-grade leaders in the ministries of the Palestine State from the view of the employees in them according to the variables (gender, experience, and job title), while there are differences according to the educational qualification variable.
