Abstract EN

The present research deals with the study and recognition of the aesthetics of African sculpture and its reflection on the contemporary terracotta.

Sculpture forms a prominent role in the products of contemporary international art schools, where sculptures were employed in many of the artistic ceramic, sculpture and painting works.

The research was organized in several chapters The first chapter identified the problem of research: What are the most important aesthetic features left by the arts African sculpture on contemporary ceramics, especially terracotta and its reflection in contemporary ceramics The importance of the research is clear through his statement to the relevant bodies between sculpture and pottery, while identifying the goal of the research in identifying the aesthetics of African sculpture affected by contemporary ceramics.

The theoretical framework focused on the themes, the first topic / aesthetics of African sculpture The second topic / Aesthetics of African sculpture in the regions of Asante and Republic of Congo and the conclusion of the chapter with indicators of theoretical framework The third chapter includes the description and analysis of (2) research samples.

1- The structure of the aesthetics of African sculpture and its reflection in terracotta pottery.

The fourth chapter contains a presentation of the findings and conclusions reached by the researcher.

1- The effect of primitive African sculpture and its reflection in contemporary terracotta ceramics in all specimens as these aesthetics joined together to form aesthetic sculptural forms in contemporary pottery.

2-The ancient African sculpture has clearly influenced contemporary art in general and contemporary ceramics in particular.
