The media plays an important role in the life of mankind and affects all aspects, whether economic, political or cultural, especially at the present time.

Therefore, the countries rushed to establish a position for the media after realizing their importance, so they resorted to establishing satellite stations to spread their culture and promote their ideas.

The media is every means in which information, image or news is presented and directed to the viewer or recipient, and the media may be owned by the state or be private, as a result of the weight of this institution and its role, the Algerian legislator has organized the organic law: 05/12 of January 12, 2012 relating to information on the activities of the audiovisual organization, and the separation of its activity under Law 4/14 of February 24, 2014, relating to audiovisual activity.
