Abstract EN

This research paper aims to study the legal framework for the penal protection of the second pillar of the electronic contract, which is the electronic contract object, and this issue has known the interest of the penal legislator, embodied in the texts of Law 18-05 related to electronic commerce.

The study concluded that the Algerian legislator protects the electronic contract object by arranging criminal liability for the electronic supplier, determining the crimes that affect it, represented in the crime of replacing the electronic contract object for products prohibited from electronic dealing, through the text of Article 37 of the aforementioned Law 18-05.
