Abstract EN

The research identifies the role of the Ministry of Social Affairs in empowering woman through the management of small projects, this study was based on the relational descriptive approach.

Selection of the research sample randomly from the women owners of small projects and their number is (70) women, and the sample of the pilot study reached (30) women, it can be concluded that the reality of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ role in empowering women through the management of small projects in the State of Kuwait was demonstrated through the ministry’s provision of plans and strategies for establishing small projects, mechanisms to guarantee the credit granted to small projects, and the ministry’s interest in establishing project incubators that take into account the specifications.

International, and that the mechanisms carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs to empower women through the management of small projects in the State of Kuwait consisted in establishing financing institutions for financing small projects, facilitating procedures for marketing small enterprises products more to foreign markets, and setting up training programs for project managers.

And raising their administrative and marketing skills, the obstacles that hinder the role of the Ministry of Social Affairs in empowering women through managing small enterprises in the State of Kuwait are bureaucratic procedures, length of documentary papers, guarantees and problems resulting from delays in payment, and the failure to list the shares of small enterprises on the stock exchange.
