Islamic banks are considered one of the main pillars upon which the Islamic economy is built.

The stability of the Islamic economy is linked to the stability of its pillars, and the stability of Islamic banks is related to how to manage risks, which is an inherent characteristic of Islamic banking.

This prompted Islamic banks to search for innovative tools to manage these risks by developing special strategies and adopting advanced techniques and methods to analyze and monitor them.

In this research, we will discuss, monitor, analyze and follow-up the most important risks related to the work of Islamic banks and search for ways, means and ways to reduce them through the strategic management of these risks, with reference to the case of Al Salam Bank Algeria.

The descriptive approach and the methodology of qualitative studies were followed, and the research concluded with a set of results, including that the main reason that led to the emergence of the problem of security for investment deposits in Islamic banks is the great disparity between the nature of the environment in which these banks operate, and the nature of the intellectual framework governing their activities.
