It is a study aimed at addressing the intangible cultural heritage in the oases, relying on the “historical method” in collecting the theoretical framework and the “field method” for collecting scientific material from the Oasis reality itself.

This is due to the suitability of this approach to the desired objectives of the study and which is intended to be achieved: by relying on a number of data collection tools, the most prominent of which is the interview with the people of the oases themselves and listening to them about their problems related to their heritage, as well as observing the lives of the people of the oases, and what comes out of them automatically, so that the collection process is characterized by honesty, and then collect samples of the forms of the Oasis heritage and work to document and preserve it, by designing a website to make it available, called the National Center for Cultural Documentation of Oasis Heritage.

The results indicated that: There are a number of individual efforts in collecting the oasis cultural heritage in the New Valley, which does not live up to the desired goal, in addition to the lack of human and financial resources devoted to safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage in the New Valley, in addition to the absence of scientific documentation in most heritage works in general, and the oases heritage in particular, and the intangible cultural heritage in the oases is one of the richest types of heritage in the world, due to its diversity and ancient history.
