English Abstract

The research aimed to: knowing the effect of using some Montessori practical life activities on improving writing skills among children with developmental learning disabilities.the sample consisted of (10) children with developmental learning disabilities ranging in age from(4-6) pre-school years.

The study tools were: Scale List of Developmental Learning Disabilities for Kindergarten Children (by Adel Abdallah, 2006) family socio-economic level scale(by Abdulaziz elshakhs, 2013), Component Writing Scale for Children with Developmental Learning Disabilities (by the researcher) , Writing improvement program based on Montessori activities (by the researcher).

Results:- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the children of the experimental group before and after tha application of the training program in the total degree of writingas awhole and its components in the direction of the post-measurement.

While the results showed that there were no differences in writing skills as a whole among children with developmental learning disabilities, according to post and follow-up measurements.
