Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the Chinese "Belt and Road" initiative, as it is the most promising economic project in the world launched in 2013, in order to link the Chinese economy with the global economy through a network of land and sea lines with the aim of promoting economic development and achieving cooperation and integration between countries.

The study also aims to know the reality of the Algerian-Chinese relations and their role in activating Algeria’s accession to this initiative and its integration into the global economy.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that this initiative will open broad horizons on the national economy, especially in trade and investment, and will be a promising alternative to redrawing Algeria within the global economic map.

The study also concluded that the success of this initiative depends on the readiness of the infrastructure and major projects such as The Hamdaniya port project, in addition to diversifying the Algerian economy, developing the foreign trade system and the customs system in Algeria.
