This study is concerned with the issue of the terminological industry in scientific terms in general, and the legal term in particular, as the term is one of the most important issues that modern linguistics is concerned with; Because it is the basis of study, research and authorship, the legal term has witnessed turmoil and fluctuation in its linguistic and idiomatic connotations, especially in the Algerian Penal Code, which is the field of our research, and the term “crime” is a model we chose for this research paper.
