This study aimed to address the problem of choosing the appropriate exchange system for the Algerian economy among many modern exchange systems.

Enter your abstract here (an abstract is a brief, comprehensive summary of the contents of the article.The issue of selection is not random, but rather controlled by many variables, which allow to diagnose the characteristics of the economy, and at the same time represent conditions that must be provided to enable the chosen exchange system to achieve the objectives of the economic policies followed.

This study concluded that the tightly managed floatssystem is the appropriate drainage system for the Algerian economy and one of the intermediate drainage systems between the two free-floating systems and the hard peg system.
