تداعيات جائحة كورونا (كوفيد-19)‎ على الاقتصاد الجزائري

Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to clarify impacts of Corona pandemic on the Algerian economy, and to identify the most important measures taken for limit its impacts, as well as foreseeing its future in light of its continuation.

In addition, describing the economic crisis caused by the pandemic and analyzing its impact on the world and the Algerian economy.

Among the results that were reached, the pandemic has damaged the Algerian economy, as oil prices have declined, as a result of the suspension of travel and to damage the sector of tourism in all the world, which is expected to negatively affect economic indicators such as high inflation and public debt, as well as erosion of foreign exchange reserves and continuing deficit the public budget.

It was expected that its damage has become more sever if it lasts, which prompted the Algerian government to take measures such as delaying taxes and reducing the import bill, and others for limit its impacts and revive the economy.
