Currency has an important impact on the lives of all societies, so it came in various beautiful forms and images bearing images and forms from the heritage of the country that issues and deals with it.

And the issuance of the Iraqi currency started from the date of the establishment of the national government in Iraq and up to this day of the people.

The research has clarified the lapses that occurred in the currency.

The search included: • Preface: dealing with the types of currency in circulation in the era that preceded the establishment of the national government.

• Then a first topic: I dealt with the study of the words of the Iraqi currency in the language, as well as their occurrence in the Holy Qur'an.

• As for the second topic: I dealt with the linguistic lapses in the coins of the currency circulating in their days • The third topic: the study of linguistic lapses in the paper denominations of the Iraqi currency.

• I summarized in the conclusion the results that appeared to me in the search, as follows: 1.

That the stakeholders in the state, as well as the Central Bank, did not delegate a competent linguistic member, but rather relied on the staff of the two institutions to write, and to accomplish some other matters.
