Abstract EN

The research sheds light on the concept of authority and discusses its representation in the literary and poetic discourse of Arab poets in the Jahiliyya and Islam eras.

The importance of the research comes in the fact that women are a secondary, subordinate, unaccounted being in the ancient Arab culture, as they exercise power over them doubly; Its texts stand against that authority, caused by the intensification of awareness and the dissolution of the unconscious and women's sense that they have turned into a holocaust of the ruling authority.

The research revealed the various representations of authority ((tribal, religious, political and social authority)) within the texts of the poetess, and this authority was represented by various and different methods, knowing that women were not explicit in criticizing that authority, but rather exercised an intentional persuasion to deny that authority.

In order to announce its position; Therefore, we chose the method of cultural criticism in criticizing these texts.
