Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure the impact of trade openness on foreign direct investment in Algeria, Based on annual data for the period between (1990-2019), To achieve this goal, Was used Vector Auto Regressive (VAR).

The study reached, no causal or integration relationship in Algeria during the study period, Also, when the independent variable is subjected to a shock, this leads to an increase in the volume of foreign capital invested, But this increase is temporary and not continuous, and the impact of the shock resolves within only the first three years.
