Abstract EN

Contemporary Qur'anic studies witnessed a number of enlightening commentators who tried to read the Holy Qur'an with the level of knowledge reached by mankind.

They were occupied with contemplating the verses of the Noble Qur'an, and re-reading its connotations and texts, in order to interpret it in an interpretation in line with the requirements of the era, influenced by Western culture and the methods it generated that were applied to religious texts other than the Qur'an, including the linguistic approach.

Hajj Hamad is one of those, as he employed this method in reading the Qur'anic vocabulary.

Because of the novelty of his approach, many studies have been raised about him that preceded this study, but this study wanted to complete what others started first, and to shed light on specific aspects of Hajj Hamad's project in his modern reading of the Qur'an.

We explain the difference between this study and some studies close to it, which the reader may think they are close to this study: 1-Understanding the Qur'an is a vision of the methodological and cognitive foundations of Dr.

Al-Hassan Hama.

The author of the research presented a reading of the methodological and philosophical systems on which Hamad established his intellectual project as a critical reading, and tried to approach his terminology and methodological and linguistic concepts, which approached the legal issues.

As for this study, it has tried to gradual with the significance of the vocabulary discussed by (Hamad) from its lexical origin to its legal significance and to his understanding of it; To find out the extent to which he employed lexical and contextual connotations in light of his adoption of the linguistic approach, to comprehend the vocabulary in a contemporary way, the percentage of his commitment to the topicality of understanding, and the extent of the accuracy of those connotations.

2- Reviews of the opinions of Muhammad Abu al-Qasim Haj Hamad / Professor Qais Mahmoud Hamid, an attempt in which the author of the research wanted to show one of the methods of dealing with the Holy Qur'an, so he chose Hamad as a sample from a group of samples converging in work, so he discussed Hamad's views on jihad, women and Adam.

He wanted to prove the fragility of Hamad's approach to dealing with the Qur'anic text.

The confluence of this study with our study is in the issue of women only, it is a treatment of an issue and an opinion.

This research dealt with the significance of vocabulary related to women, and concluded by adding semantic discussions to the reviews of Professor Qais.
