Malik Ibn Nabi is considered one of the greatest Arab thinkers who spent their lives trying to find an adequate diagnosis of the problem of civilization.

This article aims to demonstrate the role of values in the establishment of civilization, and the individuals' behavior, the society s perception of its environment, and its feeling of what surrounds it, considering that the latter is attracted to everything that is beautiful, and repelled by everything that is ugly, which is part of the component of civilization.

Values, being a component of human culture, are also considered one of the issues related to the building of the civilization.

This is what prompted Malik Ibn Nabi to illustrate that values, whether moral or aesthetic, represent an issues that is not to be in the process of uncovering the problems.
