Abstract EN

This study traces the aesthetics of the linguistic composition of the novelist discourse of the novelist Ayman Al-Atoum in four fictional texts: the novel (Ya Saibai As-Sijn) [O My Two Prison Companions], (Yasma'oun Hasisaha) [They Hear Her Hissing], (Ismuhu Ahmed) [His Name is Ahmad), and (Tareeq Jahannam) [The Way to Hell).

What unites these novels is that they belong to the prison literature, and they deal with Arab political prisons.

The study focused on six aspects of linguistic composition, which are displacement, repetition, antonymy, symbolism, mirrors and intertextuality.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach in studying the implications that resulted from the linguistic composition and how it served the text and presented it in an aesthetic manner rich in meanings, suggestions, and deep connotations for the reader.

The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which are that the novelist Al-Atoum mastered the use of language, diversifying the aspects of the linguistic composition in his novels, and he mixed the prose style with the poetic style, and therefore his language was easy and entertaining which conveyed the content of the novel in a world full of artistic and creative aesthetics.
