Many contemporaries may see that the issue of second marriage in the ancient societies seems to be a normal thing in their perception, but reading the poetic heritage shows that it was an adventure fraught with risk, especially in the case of loss, which is represented by hasty marriage in which he discovers his marital love for divorce The first, he regrets his divorce and marriage to another, or in the case of polygamy, which the poet rushes to flee from a failed marriage experience to another marriage experience that makes the matter worse, and life is complicated, and the poet falls into two compelling options, or to leave his wives on them, His suffering is out of consideration for his children, for whom the father's love for them was not ent in poetry.

This study sheds light on the human side of this subject with an artistic and aesthetic vision, through which we monitor what the poetic structure reveals, which varies between tragedy and comedy, and we aim through this research to draw the parameters of values in poems about the second marriage in ancient Arabic poetry
