Abstract EN

The research deals with a unique poetic and literary figure, Muhammad Salih Bahr Al-Uloom, a well-known Iraqi poet who was born in a revolutionary house from the anti-British colonial houses of Najaf at the beginning of the twentieth century.

He descended from an ancient family famous for science and literature.

His experience enriches his connection to his environment, and we find the poet more like a photographer, drawing his pictures from the reality of his diverse environment.

In this research, we try to monitor the most important sources on which the poet relied in building his poetic images.
