Abstract EN

We aim through this study at showing the most serious problems which face pregnant women during delivery and to know the most important factors affecting their psyche and health, which are embodied in the conditions of public hospitals in Algeria, such as the bad treatment pregnant women get during delivery by some midwives, where we noticed that it is full of cruelty and severity, and it includes all forms of violence.

We have relied on the descriptive analytical method and the case study method, and accordingly we dealt with 6 cases of pregnant women who were violented during their birth and analyzed sociologically, and at the end the results were analyzed and the most important recommendations.
