The research aims to develop a proposed vision of the roles of academic leaders at King Khalid University in the light of the knowledge-based economy, by identifying their roles in the application (knowledge management, technology in the educational process, organizational justice, administrative empowerment), and based on the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire applied to a sample of (370) members of the academic leaders and faculty members of the faculties of King Khalid University, and reached a proposed vision consisting of a number of elements, namely, Objectives, foundations, and mechanisms requirements for the application of the roles of academic leaders at King Khalid University, and those responsible for the success of the proposed vision, and recommended the research to hold training courses for academic leaders faculty members and staff on the application of information technology at colleges and universities, and the establishment of organizational structures supported by modern rules and procedures.
