Abstract EN

This research aims to collect what Al-Zubaidi learned about Al-Khalil in the book Al-Ain of materials, structures and linguistic uses (Bab Al-Qaf as a model), in order to document them, classify them, show the extent of their process and circulation in the Arabic lexicon, and determine their linguistic value.

Among the most important results: Al-Zubaidi had a method in abbreviating the Book of Al-Ain, so he was not satisfied with shortening its phrases and focusing its structures, but went beyond that to adding to it in linguistic materials, adding many uses, meanings and structures that were not in the printed eye, and supplementing some of the deficiencies that he encountered.
