This is one of the important historical topics that did not receive the attention from concerned researchers for multiple reasons.

Perhaps the most important of which is the lack of historical materials available to the researcher, as well as the scattered information in the concerned books, which require tedious effort to collect them, their reformulation and then employing them in line within the objectives of this research.

The concerned tribe is attributed to Warfjoum and bin Tidgas and descends directly from Walhasah which is considered as one of the biggest bellies of Nafzawat, being famous for its strength and abilities and its home in the lower Maghreb region.

Moreover, this tribe occupied an important position in genealogy, geography and trips books Although, this tribe was not as large as the widespread bellies such as Kutama, Zanata, Sanhaja and others, it succeeded in defeating the Arand occupying the city of Kairouan, killing its ruler and violating the taboo in it.
