The researcher began her research by talking about the impact of literary art in general and particularly the story in influencing people's emotions, clarifying the position of the short story and its role in inculcating values in society as well as throwing light on the motives for choosing the topic, most notably the writer's co-existence for the society issues and not standing in a negative or isolationist position.
