نظم المعلومات الجغرافية هي نتاج تطور المعلوماتية والاتصالات والتطور التكنولوجي، تقوم بدمج كل من الأجهزة والبيانات والبرمجيات مع نظام تحديد المواقع للمساعدة في تحليل الأماكن الجغرافية في مسألة معينة، وأصبحت تطبيقاتها في عصر العولمة، تمس كل أوجه الأنشطة المجتمعات التي تزداد تعقيدا يوما بعد يوم.
وهذا ما نريد البحث فيه.

Geographical information systems GIS are the product of the development of informatics, communications and technological development, it integrates both hardware, data and software with GPS to help analyze geographical places, and its applications have become in the era of globalization, touching all aspects of activities in societies that are increasingly complex day by day.
