The international bodies working in the field of human rights define and focus their role and field of work in finding ways to protect human rights in general, but some of them are concerned with protecting a group of rights, or even one right because of its importance and need for special follow-up.

The Human Rights Council and the Human Rights Committee are bodies based on the United Nations Charter, as they were established by decisions of the principal organs of the United Nations that derive from the United Nations Charter, and from the mechanisms emanating from them and specialized in the issue of enforced or involuntary disappearances are the Working Group on Enforced Disappearances, in addition to To the Committee for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, which resulted from the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance of 2006, and they are considered monitoring bodies to ensure protection from the occurrence of this crime and to create practical mechanisms to address and monitor these cases whenever they occur.
