JEL: O32, O39Strategic vigilance contributes to the development of the enterprise by providing information on the external environment in which it is active and by which it can monitor its markets, competitors in particular and its surroundings in general.

This paper is concerned with the importance of strategic vigilance as an input to enhance the enterprise's ability to act quickly and in a timely manner with the greatest effectiveness.

The least possible means of achieving and improving their permanent competitiveness have reached the extent to which we have increased interest in this function by trying to obtain, process and understand economic information that has a strategic impact on it and its decisions as an input to achieving competitive advantage under the entreprises' interest in research and development.
