Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to identify the various accumulated and interrelated factors that determine the professional path of women, sometimes based on their own choices, in line with their personal desire, and sometimes on the nature of Algerian society and the system of values characterized by rigour, customs and traditions that create many barriers and obstacles in a society influenced by male domination, which is the stereotype that was placed in the the mind of every Algerian.

Algerian women profession has undergone radical changes, in keeping with the changes that our society has experienced in terms of economic and social structures.

From a traditional society that favours the stay of women at home and considers that its highest function is to serve their children and husbands to a modern society that has brought about many changes at various levels, the most prominent among them is the lack of patriarchy and openness to the outside world, which has produced a kind of emancipation for women, the latter of which demands that they break into all spheres of work without taking into account gender.
