Foundational and literary writings are considered important sources in historical and archaeological research, as they contain valuable information that helps the researcher in his scientific studies.

Foundational writings are found in architectural installations of various kinds in order to commemorate the memory of their founder so that they remain a witness to his cultural achievements in the territories of his country.

Especially represented in those poems that poets organize by admiration or compliment and praise for the ruler for his work in building and construction, so we find that they contain information about the date of foundation and the names of the rulers, flags and scholars, so, this is what we stood on the facilities of Mascara city, as the focus of our study in this research.
