The research paper aims to focus on the various efforts exerted by the Algerian government to combat corruption through the legal arsenal, which from its perspective can reduce or prevent corruption crimes, especially those related to financial corruption, and perhaps the most important of these crimes are those related to public procurement because the effects are on Economic and financial level in particular.

The importance of this research paper is highlighted by the resonance of corruption crimes locally and internationally, Through this paper, we will find that it is a failure to use existing laws that have been enacted and amended every time, It is not a shortage of laws and legislation, Through this study we will shed light on the legal mechanisms to combat corruption in Algeria through the executive decree which includes the organization of public procurements and the mandates of the Presidential Decree 15/247 and the law on the prevention and control of corruption 06/01.
