Abstract EN

Egypt has taken financial inclusion as one of the most important priorities of its government agenda during the current stage as it is part of the Egypt Vision 2030, which contributes in several aspects aimed at achieving maximum financial stability, by supporting small and medium enterprises, attracting the informal sector, more job opportunities, and achieving Sustainable growth.

However, despite the importance of financial inclusion, it is exposed to some obstacles related to supply and demand, and the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Egypt are taking effective measures to implement optimal financial use mechanisms, and their policies have targeted many financially excluded segments.

Despite the positive results achieved regarding the level of financial inclusion, the policies of its implementation still need more support in facing these challenges.
