Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the concept of the learning organization and the degree to which the college under study provides the foundations and activities of the learning organization from the point of view of the Teaching staff.

In order to achieve this goal, the study used the descriptive approach and adopted a questionnaire as its tool.

The study found that the degree of providing the foundations of the learning organization in the college under study is average.

Concerning its activities, its availability was weak, except the activity of learning from others, which was provided with a moderate degree.

The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample regarding the availability of foundations and activities due to the difference of gender or years of experience.

As for the scientific rank, the results also proved that there were no differences except for: (leadership, learning from others, and knowledge transfer), where the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the responses.

The differences are in favor of the rank of professor of higher education.
